My nephew is fascinated with what I’m doing on my laptop when I’m typing. He has watched me post review after review and finally I decided to get him to help. So today Grayson and I are reviewing The Lion Who Lost His Roar, But Learnt to Draw by Paula Knight and Daniel Howarth.
My nephew loved it. Of course, when I asked him what he liked about it he said “butterflies,” but when you ask for opinions there are no wrong answers. For me, the story was okay and it didn’t teach anything really — unless “drawing isn’t boring” counts as a lesson — but the pictures were exceptionally pretty and it did make Gray go quiet and get all cuddly.
Rating: 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Entertaining… especially if you actually roar when reading it.
